How to connect a discussion group to a Telegram channel
For comments to appear under a channel’s posts, a discussion group is linked to it. This is where Chorusly reads comments from.

Why you need a discussion group
In Telegram, the comments under a channel post are kept in a separate group. Without a group there are no comments under posts.
How to link a group
- Create a group or pick an existing one.
- Open the channel settings and find the “Discussion” section.
- Choose the group. After that a comments button appears under new posts.
The names of the items may differ slightly between Telegram versions.
What Chorusly needs
- Add the @chorusly_bot bot to the channel as an admin with the right to post messages if you want the post of the day to go to the channel.
- Add the bot to the discussion group as an admin so it can see the comments.
